Partnership Working in Western Care Association

In September 2002 Western Care Association became the pilot Partnership Site on behalf of the Intellectual Disability Sector and the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies.
'Partnership' is about management and staff working together, in an active relationship, in managing change by employee participation and consultation, the development of joint objectives, co-operation and trust in the delivery of quality services.
Noting the Association's Mission Statement, the Partnership Committee believes that quality services can best be provided by an organisation that values active partnership approaches in the way it works and delivers services.
The Partnership Committee is made up of seven Management and seven Union representatives.
