Fundraising & Western Care

What does Western Care Do?

Western Care Association provides a broad range of community based supports and services to over 850 children and adults with learning disabilities and their families in County Mayo.

Why Fundraise?

As a voluntary organisation we rely on significant voluntary contributions to help sustain our services on an ongoing basis.

Fundraising is an extremely important source of revenue for the Association. Your contribution, no matter how big or small:

Ø     greatly enhances the quality of life of people using our services.

Ø     may qualify for tax reliefCHY2 Cert on revenue website www.revenue.ie

Ø     can provide your company or business with advertising or promotional opportunities.

Where does your money go?

Your fundraised money enables us to provide resources for extra transport, extensions and repairs to training centres, group homes, day centres and respite homes. It also helps to provide training, social and sporting opportunities for our service users.

Voluntary contributions also fund the recruitment and support of Volunteers who work directly with service users to enhance their quality of life.

Thank You

The Association is greatly indebted to the generosity of our supporters locally, nationally and
internationally. We thank everybody for their support and look forward to your continued support in
the future.
